Mutual Fund Shareholder Report Writing

Writing the manager commentary for mutual fund shareholder reports is a labor intensive—yet mandatory—exercise that requires multiple steps, including:

  • Scheduling fund manager interviews
  • Reviewing attribution reports
  • Conducting fund manager interviews
  • Writing first drafts
  • Incorporating comments and edits from multiple sources
  • Copyediting and proofreading
  • Legal review

All the while, the clock is ticking as your printer eagerly awaits delivery of the approved files. It’s enough to make your head spin.
